These terms govern the use of this website and the booking of the services we offer. By making a booking you accept what is described below, so please read it carefully.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Iskay Andean Travel E.I.R.L, tax ID 10443534747, registered at Cusco, Cusco, Perú. You can contact us at [email protected] or by phone on +51 903 131 213.
We act as an intermediary in the management and booking of entrance tickets to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, and as the organiser of the tours and packages we publish.
2. Nature of the service
The Machu Picchu entrance ticket is issued by the competent Peruvian authority. We do not issue it: we book and manage it in your name and charge a service fee for that work, shown separately before you confirm.
Tours and packages, on the other hand, are our own services or are contracted with local operators. Each product page details what is included, what is not, the duration and the itinerary.
3. Booking process
For entrance tickets, you choose circuit, date and time slot according to the availability shown on the site, complete each traveller details and receive a booking code by email.
For tours and packages, the form creates an availability enquiry, not a purchase. An advisor checks availability and confirms the final price with you before any charge. The booking is only firm once we expressly confirm it.
Receiving a booking code with pending status is not the same as a confirmed booking.
4. Prices and service fee
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and include the official ticket price plus our service fee, which you will see itemised before confirming.
Official prices are set by the Peruvian authority and may change without notice. If the official price changes between your request and our confirmation, we will tell you before charging and you may withdraw at no cost.
Where payment is made by card or through an online payment platform, the gateway fee is shown added to the total before you confirm.
5. Traveller details
Machu Picchu tickets are personal: they are issued with the full name, document type and document number of each visitor, who must present that document at the entrance.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us. A misspelled name or a wrong document number may prevent entry, and the authority does not allow corrections at the gate.
If you spot a mistake, tell us as soon as possible: we will try to correct it, although this depends on the issuer rules and is not always free of charge.
6. Traveller obligations
- Arrive on the exact date and time of the ticket: entry outside the assigned slot is not allowed.
- Carry the original identity document used for the booking.
- Follow the sanctuary rules and the instructions of staff and guides.
- Assess your own state of health: Cusco sits at high altitude and some circuits require sustained physical effort.
- Take out travel insurance if you consider it necessary. Unless expressly stated, our services do not include it.
7. Cancellations and changes
Cancellation, change and refund conditions are set out in our cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Liability
We are liable for the correct handling of your booking and for the services we organise directly. We are not liable for events beyond our control: closures of the archaeological site, strikes, weather conditions, road blockades, changes to capacity or regulations imposed by the authority, or delays caused by third parties such as rail operators.
Nor are we liable for services lost because the traveller arrives late, fails to carry the identity document or breaches the sanctuary rules.
9. Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, itineraries and other content on this site belong to Iskay Andean Travel E.I.R.L or are used with permission. They may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without written consent.
10. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Peruvian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Peru, without prejudice to the consumer rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence.

11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect legal or operational changes. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force on the day you made it, and you can always check the last update date here.
