Circuit 1 (Panoramic)
The most exclusive: it sells only 30 tickets per hour, so there are fewer people. It's the classic postcard view from the upper terrace, with an optional hike up Machu Picchu Mountain (medium-high difficulty). Ideal if your priority is the panoramic photo without crowds. Circuit 2 (Classic)
The most complete and popular, with over 100 tickets available per hour. It walks through both the upper section (the panoramic view) and the urban sector with the citadel's main temples. It's the most requested circuit for first-time visitors. See Ticket 2A (Classic Inka city).
Circuit 3 (Royalty)
Focuses on the royal buildings of the lower city —Temple of the Sun, Royal Palace, ceremonial fountains— and gives access to the mountain hikes (Huayna Picchu). Thanks to its flatter terrain, the no-mountain variant (Ticket 3B) is also the most recommended option for elderly travelers or visitors with reduced mobility. - History and architecture, or lower physical demand: Circuit 3 (variant 3B).
